History of J L Business Interiors, Inc.

J L Business Interiors, Inc. was founded by Jeff and Karen Lambie in April 1994. Karen has a background in accounting and has 33 years of office experience. Jeff has been in the Office Furniture Industry for over 33 years with backgrounds in interior design and facility management.

Their company began in the Lambie family basement with the garage becoming the warehouse. After 6 months, they moved to downtown West Bend. By the end of the first year, the company had inventory in four different warehouses. In January 1996, J L Business Interiors was incorporated and moved to 929 North River Road. In July 2000, J L Business Interiors, Inc. moved into its current location to be under one roof at 515 Schoenhaar Dr. The company continued to grow and expand not only its services but also staff, requiring an extensive 8,800 square foot warehouse addition and showroom remodeling project. This expansion resulted in 20,000 square feet of warehouse space, and 8,000 square feet of showroom, making it one of the largest displays of commercial furnishings in the state. Our customers have the advantage of being able to See, Feel, and Touch products in the selection process.

We represent high quality new office furniture at discount prices with a variety of manufacturers including Global, Invincible, La-Z-Boy, Evolve, and Inscape. We also offer quality pre-owned office furniture which brings a low cost alternative to businesses seeking to furnish their offices with “as-is” or refurbished furniture from various companies including Herman Miller, Invincible and Steelcase, just to name a few.

In 2009, Jeff and Karen Lambie launched the Integrated Healthcare Products division of J L Business Interiors which further expands the options we are able to offer. This division allows us to be another source for healthcare facilities.

J L Business Interiors, Inc. has established itself as a resource for their customers to obtain quality interior products at an affordable cost. As an office furniture recycler, we are committed to protecting the environment, and we offer many green alternatives. J L Business Interiors, Inc. has earned a reputation for giving back to the community through involvement in numerous service, civic, and charitable organizations.

Our goal is to offer high quality products and full service resources that focus on providing clients with creative solutions to all of their office interiors needs at a price they can afford.
